Achieve a Higher
Quality of Life
Are your days lived in constant pain, or do you experience frequent headaches or debilitating migraines? These symptoms can be the most obvious signs of Atlas Misalignment. Other chronic conditions associated with Atlas Misalignment can include vertigo, fibromyalgia, Lyme Disease, chronic fatigue, and other neurological or musculoskeletal disorders.
Atlas Misalignment is often the result of a traumatic incident such as a car accident, falls, or head-related injuries, But other more subtle traumas such as poor posture, bad sleeping habits, or improper lifting and carrying can also cause the Atlas vertebrae to be misaligned and cause problems.
You Might Be Suffering From Atlas Misalignment
The Atlas vertebrae is the top cervical bone in the neck and supports the head. A traumatic injury to the head or neck area can cause the Atlas vertebrae to become misaligned, which in turn affects the alignment of the spine. Since the spine protects the spinal cord that attaches the brain to the body’s central nervous system, any disruptions or abnormalities to the spine can have adverse effects on many areas of the body.
Even a mild injury to the head can cause the Atlas vertebrae to jarred loose from its orthogonal or neutral position beneath the head, causing the head to tilt in one direction or another. When the head is not perfectly positioned at the top of the spine, the rest of the spine shifts to support the head’s weight. This movement of the Atlas vertebrae and the repositioning of the spine is what is known as Atlas Misalignment.
We Can Help! Atlas Realignment
CT Spine is an Atlas Orthogonal Speciality Center that uses percussion waves to gently move the Atlas vertebrae back into the orthogonal or neutral position. This is accomplished without the traditional forceful manipulation of conventional chiropractic treatments.
Our 4-step treatment process helps our patients find relief from persistent pain or chronic conditions. That includes the use of X-rays to determine how far your Atlas vertebrae is out of alignment, and another set of X-rays after each visit to see how close The Atlas vertebrae is to returning to its normal or neutral position.
